Emotobooks?

Dengar:
Hey guys, I just had a question. If this is the wrong place I'm sorry, feel free to move it.

I was at a comic con this past weekend and I heard some people talking about "Emotobooks" Was wondering if any of you had heard about it or know what it was? It sounded interesting but I can't find any information about it. Apparently it's some sort of new medium of fiction and I would really like to get into it. Any help would be great guys!!

Thanx in advance

JennyTheBoss:
I've actually heard about this through a friend.  Just do a google search and their site will come up.  Pretty interesting stuff.  I gave it a shot and snagged "Swing Zone"
the Sci-Fi title they have.  Enjoyed it thus far

JennyTheBoss:
Not to double post, but I just snagged "Swing Zone" Issue 2 today.  It was even better then the first issue.  Really getting into this series. I love the twists and turns the author is getting the character into.  Plus, the female empowerment is just awesome.  I wish more authors would use a strong female character role in their stories

JennyTheBoss:
Don't mean to triple post and keep bumping this up, but has anyone tried these yet?  I would really love to get into some good discussions over them.  I just picked up another title called "Lingering in the Woods" which is their Viking Fantasy.  Gonna give it a read over my lunch break :)

Anyone even read this forums anymore? Or am I talking to myself? hahaha.. wouldn't be the first time

Babyfacemagee:
I'm not really familiar with what 'emotobooks' are.  I googled them and they look like digital books that have a graphics element that tries to 'highten emotional awareness'.   So since I've never actually read/tried one of these...what do you think?  Does this graphical element add anything to the story or is it a distraction?
