Someone please help me /:
« on: February 01, 2012, 04:41:46 AM »
can someone please help me? Rooted and flashed CWM touch and all was going well until i accidentally hit fast reboot in reboot options. I can't connect to adb and whenever i "press power button for recovery" nothing happens, and it will just turn the screen off after about 12 seconds. I really hope someone can help me.. so please respond. I had not set up fastboot prior to doing this... I have a backup of the stock rooted ROM, but i can't get into recovery.

I think for that kind of problem you're probably gonna get better help at XDA forums.   http://forum.xda-developers.com/

Did you ever fix this problem? If not, the following helped me.

Your problem seems a lil vague to really help and it depends on if your computer is still detecting your Kindle Fire or if you drivers need installed. Also if you are using the one click program to root and install ur TWRP and rom simple connect your kindle to the computer and click the fast boot option and change it to normal. I did this when my fire was stuck in fastboot mode and would only boot loop. even though it wasn't detected by the one click program it was still changed to normal boot mode and i was then able to get into TWRP.
