how to edit documents

How to edit documents. Must they be in Ms word?

It really depends on what kind of document you're using.  There's a number of different programs you can use.  Some do have the ability to open and edit MS Word documents as well as others.   Take a look at 'Documents To Go' and 'QuickOffice Pro HD'.  Those are two of the more popular ones.
